It’s like Groundhog’s Day every episode around here. The USC Trojans lose playing uninspired defense while Notre Dame wins playing dominate defense.

The only place to start is with the Trojans who lost at home to Oregon. Not only did USC lose, but they also gave up 41 points and looked particularly lost doing it. Lincoln Riley may be on the hot seat and has the fans besides themselves. What really has the fans upset though is Desmond Stephens and his targeting penalty on Dante Moore. Greg and Michael go deep on the play, the aftermath and the press surrounding the play.

In adding some insult to injury this weekend, Travis Hunter watch brings us his first career NFL interception and it’s against Michael’s beloved New England Patriots. What a weekend.

When it comes to Notre Dame there is nothing more to talk about than their incredible defense. Greg thinks this team is full of real playmakers who can make a difference. Oh, the Fighting Irish also have a pretty good quarterback too. The luck of the Irish, aimirite.
