Football is finally here for both the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the USC Trojans, and we start the 2023 season in the most logical place, beard talk. Michael firmly believes that a quarterback with a beard cannot win the national title. When we finally get to our respective teams, we discuss what exactly would be a successful season for Notre Dame and USC. The Trojans have higher aspirations than the Fighting Irish, but don’t tell that to the Notre Dame fans. Then somehow a conversation about expectations morphs into a breakdown of Coach Prime and if we believe the shtick.  Finally we make our predications for Notre Dame vs. Navy and USC vs. San Jose State.
