The second week of the season is complete for both the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the USC Trojans and the teams are heading in opposite directions. Notre Dame lost their second game of the season, this time to lowly Marshall. The Fighting Irish looked terrible and just about everything went wrong. Even the quarterback got hurt. We take stock of the season so far, what has gone wrong and what to expect going forward. It’s the exact opposite trajectory for the Trojans. USC wins again. The offense looked great against Stanford and started the game red hot. The defense has some questions, but are creating a lot of turnovers. The Trojans look to continue their winning ways against Fresno State this Saturday.
