Podcast: Untitled Notre Dame USC Football Podcast – Episode 7.3 Stanford Toledo
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the USC Trojans both played football games, but only one team secured a victory. We start with the Trojans and their loss to the Stanford Cardinal. USC lost 42-28, and this could be the end of the Clay Helton era. It’s more of the same for the Trojans, with more questions than answers about the state of the program and what the future holds. The worst part of all of this is it sucks all the fun out of the room. The Fighting Irish are also giving their fans something to worry about. If wasn’t for some fourth quarter heroics, Notre Dame would have lost to a MAC school. We go over Marcus Freeman and Tommy Rees’s growing pains and the Fighting Irish’s general bad luck. WE also talk about the debut of freshman quarterback Tyler Buchner.
