Podcast: Untitled Notre Dame USC Football Podcast – Episode 6.16 Championship Game Previews
Championship week is upon us. Both the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the USC Trojans will be playing in conference championship games this weekend. We start with Notre Dame who has a rematch with the Clemson Tigers. Greg disagrees with the national narrative, and asks why can’t the Fighting Irish beat Clemson again? Notre Dame has the confidence from already beating Clemson earlier in the season, and has no reason to believe they can’t do it again. Trevor Lawrence be damned. The Trojans will be playing at home in the Pac-12 title game against replacement team Oregon. The replacement Ducks will be going up against Talanoa Hufanga who is having himself an all world season. We also go on a brief tangent about undeserving Iowa State and then bring it back with a sobering conversation about how long the Clay Helton era will last.
