Its official, we were finally able to watch a real football game, with fans and everything. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish kicked off the season with a win against the Duke Blue Devils. In victory there were still many questions about quarterback Ian Book and his wide receivers. How much of this can be chalked up to the pandemic is up for debate. We discuss how the experienced offensive line started out slow but rounded into form as the game progressed. Then shift gears to the defense which was solid, and rarely faltered. We even talk about all the new faces we got to see, including new commentator Tony Dungy. There is even spirited banter on Ian Book and Shaun Crawford’s living arrangements.
