Another set of big wins for the USC Trojans and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, but off the field stories have both our attentions this week. USC beat cross town rival UCLA on Saturday, and freshman phenom Kedon Slovis broke the Trojan single game passing yard record. The victory bell may be back at USC, but all anyone is talking about is will Clay Helton Keep his job. We make the case first for why he should continue as the Trojans coach and then why he should be fired. Over in South Bend Notre Dame made easy work of Boston College. For the fans, the game was the least important Fighting Irish football show on television, and all eyes were on the Notre Dame Fan Feed simulcast on the NBC Sports network featuring Darius Walker, Daelin Hayes and internet favorite Jessica Smetana. It seemed like a big hit, and brought all the problems with NBC’s broadcast, again.
