The Notre Dame Fighting Irish remain unbeaten after a thorough handling of top 25 opponent Virginia Tech; while the USC Trojans has the week off to try and iron out some of the issues that have been plaguing the team this season. Notre Dame went to Blacksburg this weekend and came away with a victory. The offense started slow but looked sharp as the game went out, scoring on big play after big play. Ian Book and Dexter Williams continued to shine for the Irish offense as Notre Dame looks like a top team in college football.  As for the Trojans, hopefully a week off will help the team regroup as they take on Colorado this coming Saturday
