Podcast: Untitled Notre Dame USC Football Podcast – Episode 3.8 Week 7
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and USC Trojans were both victories this weekend, however spirits are not as high as listeners might expect on this episode. We start with our focus on Notre Dame and Greg explaining why backup quarter back Ian Book was starting against North Carolina and who Deon McIntosh is. Then we try to not get too nitpicky of a road victory in the rain when the starting quarterback doesn’t play. As for the USC side of the podcast, Michael breaks down the game day experience at the Coliseum since he was in attendance this past Saturday. Once all the tailgating pleasantries are put aside Michael rants about USC’s poor special teams play, the questionable play calling, and the uncanny ability of the Trojans’ defense to give up big plays.
