Podcast: Untitled Notre Dame USC Football Podcast – Episode 2.3 Week 2
It was a rough Labor Day weekend for both the USC Trojans and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. We start with Notre Dame’s thrilling double overtime loss to the Texas Longhorns, and break down what went wrong, the Irish quarterback rotation and what in the world is still wrong with Notre Dame’s defense. After we discuss what exactly is a targeting penalty, USC’s huge loss to Alabama is next (31:37). Michael tries to sugar coat the loss Trojans fans, however the horrible coaching job by USC coach Clay Helton is too much for everyone to handle. We get into how bad the USC offensive line was, what happened to the defense, where was JuJu Smith-Schuster and if the Coliseum will be empty for next week’s 11am game against Utah State. We end the podcast by answering listener email.
