Podcast: Tiltingground w/ Michael Muto – Episode 1 Star Wars
On the inaugural episode of Tiltingground with Michael Muto, I kick everything off with the only thing the world is talking about, Star Wars. Joe Fraley and I discuss the original movies, what they did right, where the prequels went wrong, things we love from the series and what we want to see in The Force Awakens.

Just saw the movie… Not a fan, while the movie very entertaining to watch. I just couldn’t get over how lazily the creative juices of J.J. Abraham were applied to this movie. All of the classic tropes were pulled out from the Millennium Falcon to Admiral Akbar. No effort was made to make this movie stand on it’s own merits, even the plot line was stolen from the original Star Wars: New Hope. I wanted to get up and walk out on two separate occasions, not because I wasn’t entertained, but more just out of frustration surrounding the complete lack of original thought. That said if you’ve never seen the Star Wars movies, I think you’ll find this more very enjoyable, as will all of the fan boys. However if you thought this movie was going to push the story in a new direction…… You’ll be VERY disappointed.
